The Greenscie Chemical Trade Union in Jiangsu has established a table tennis interest group, providing dedicated facilities and equipment as well as earmarked funding. The group regularly organizes daily practice sessions, monthly friendly matches, quarterly skill‑enhancement activities, and annual tournaments, with plans to host external exhibition matches in the future. This low‑barrier sport helps break down departmental silos, relieve employee stress, and strengthen team cohesion. The company will continue to enrich its cultural and sports programs, leveraging a vibrant corporate culture to inspire all employees to strive for excellence.

To enrich employees’ spiritual and cultural lives, relieve the stress of daily work, and deepen the company’s heartwarming cultural development, the trade union of Jiangsu Greenscie Chemical Co., Ltd. took the lead in establishing a table tennis interest group and has refined its annual activity plan accordingly. At present, the group has completed its recruitment, and various training and exchange activities are now held on a regular basis, making it a new platform for employees to relax, stay fit, and engage in communication.

For many years, the company has consistently put people first, placing great emphasis on employees’ cultural and recreational development and striving to foster a corporate culture characterized by vitality, unity, and a spirit of progress. Table tennis is an accessible sport with broad participation, effectively breaking down departmental silos and enabling employees from diverse roles and age groups to interact on the same playing field. Since its inception, the interest group has received enthusiastic support from staff; many have proactively used their spare evenings to gather in the dedicated activity room for practice, unwinding and rejuvenating themselves while exchanging shots.

Leveraging a well-established event framework, the group has established a multi‑tiered platform for sports exchange. Daily open sessions for free sparring allow employees to hone their skills at any time; monthly intra‑team matches use competition to motivate participation; and quarterly specialized skill‑development activities strike a balance between leisure and athletic improvement. Meanwhile, the company has designed a comprehensive internal tournament system, with quarterly singles events and an annual finals series progressing smoothly, offering professional sports gear as prizes to further boost engagement. Moving forward, the group will also host inter‑company friendly matches and campus‑wide employee leagues, stepping beyond the workplace to build camaraderie through sport and showcase the Yunong workforce’s spirited, upward‑looking ethos.
The company provides a full suite of sports equipment and has designated dedicated activity spaces, with union funds specifically allocated to support all cultural and recreational events, offering robust backing for employees to engage in physical activity with peace of mind. Even a modest ping-pong table helps bring colleagues closer together, fostering smoother cross-departmental collaboration and steadily strengthening team cohesion.
Going forward, the company’s trade union will continue to deepen its efforts in fostering a robust employee culture, diversify the formats of interest‑group activities, and refine the platforms for cultural and sports events, ensuring that physical fitness becomes an integral part of employees’ daily lives. By cultivating a healthy, energetic corporate culture, we aim to ignite enthusiasm for work and entrepreneurship and unite all staff in a shared drive to achieve common goals.
