Company Overview
Jiangsu Greenscie Chemical Co., Ltd.
Jiangsu Greenscie Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in the National-level Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone Green New Materials Industrial Park. It is a national high-tech enterprise and a designated pesticide formulation manufacturer approved by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The company originated from Jiangsu Gengyun Chemical Co., Ltd., established in 2003. After two relocations and two business restructurings, it was officially renamed in 2009. Covering an area of 33,350 square meters with a building area of 22,778 square meters, the company has an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of pesticide formulations and operates two wholly owned subsidiaries, laying a solid foundation for capacity expansion and market development.
For more than three decades, the company has consistently infused its very essence with the “red gene,” passing it down from one generation to the next. “Heeding the Party’s words and following its lead” is not only the spiritual foundation but also the guiding principle for all actions. The company gives priority to recruiting Communist Party members and veterans, regularly organizes Party-building activities, and uses red culture to shape character and cultivate talent, thereby fostering a corporate culture of “treating the factory as home and dedicating ourselves to the country through practical work.”
The company closely follows the international trend in pesticide formulation toward water-based, dust-free, and ultrafine formulations, with a strong focus on the R&D and production of green formulations such as low-melting-point suspensions (SC) and water-dispersible granules (WG), maintaining a leading position in the industry. Its product portfolio covers fungicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators, adjuvants, and fertilizers, meeting the needs of various field crops and cash crops for disease and pest control as well as yield enhancement.
Innovative R&D
The company boasts strong R&D capabilities; its project “Research and Development and Application of Novel Green Pesticides and Formulations for the Control of Major Crop Pests and Diseases,” conducted in collaboration with China Agricultural University, Jiangsu Gengyun Chemical Co., Ltd., and other institutions, was awarded the Second Prize of the 2019 National Science and Technology Progress Award. The company’s pioneering, independently owned innovative pesticide “Dinobutamid” has successfully entered mass production and been launched on the market, making it one of the few domestically developed agrochemicals to receive formal registration in China. The company actively engages in international cooperation, maintaining in-depth partnerships in the field of biological control with Nanjing Agricultural University, the Zhenjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and other institutions. To date, it has filed more than 20 patent applications (including 6 invention patents), registered over 100 trademarks, and established several well-reputed, proprietary brands.
Rooted in China, the company is strategically positioned for global expansion. Actively embracing the Belt and Road Initiative, it has established an international footprint with its headquarters in Zhenjiang, Xinjiang as its western hub, and Southeast Asia as its eastern growth frontier. The Xinjiang branch, serving as a strategic gateway for China’s westward opening, is steadily evolving into an incubation center for agrochemical products in Central Asia, integrating sales, service, manufacturing, and R&D under one roof. Its products are exported to Belt and Road countries such as Myanmar, Cambodia, and Uzbekistan, bringing China’s green agrochemical technologies and solutions to fields around the world and contributing to increased agricultural productivity and incomes globally.
"Carrying forward the red gene, delving deep into green technology, and serving global agriculture—Jiangsu Greenscie Chemical Co., Ltd. is taking solid steps to fulfill the responsibilities and commitments of private enterprises in the new era within the vast landscape of the Belt and Road Initiative."
