Directions for Use of Daconil Fungicide
Directions for Use of Daconil Fungicide

Daconil, chlorothalonil, is a broad spectrum protectant fungicide for use in home gardens. As a contact fungicide, Daconil controls common fungi such as molds, mildews, scab and rust on vegetables and ornamentals. You should apply Daconil at more frequent intervals during periods of cloudy or rainy weather, as these are conditions that favor the growth and spread of fungal diseases. Daconil for home garden use is 29.6 percent active ingredient, compared to 40.4 percent or higher concentrations for golf turf and other commercial applications. Daconil is recommended for home gardens but is not intended for use on home lawns.

1、Shake the bottle before use.
2、Measure Daconil fungicide into the spray tank. Refer to the label directions to determine the proper amount of fungicide per gallon of water for your specific plant application. One gallon of mixture covers approximately 200 square feet.
3、Fill the tank to the water line and agitate to create a suspension of the Daconil in the water.
4、Spray the plants, covering both upper and under sides of leaves. Spray until runoff occurs.
5、Repeat applications according to label instructions.
